The HUB of Northern Quebec - Plane Spotting in Kuujjuaq (YVP)

Welcome to Kuujjuaq, Quebec; the largest community in the Nunavik region of Quebec. This is also one of Air Inuit’s main hubs, with flights all across the province. With 2 runways (25/07) and (13/31), and one of them being gravel; it makes for some amazing spotting! Over 2000 people live in this town, making it by far the largest town in the region. Kuujjuaq is the only community in Nunavik to have a paved runway, that plus being the most populous town within the community has made YVP airport an important gateway into the Nunavik region for both passengers and cargo.
