Meshes | Live @ Abandoned Gasler’s castle

The fourth episode of Paragraphs “Love and Hatred“ is set in the abandoned Gasler’s Castle in the Tver region. The Moscow musician Meshes plays a synthesized vocal live: a powerful bass line, a dense flow of drums, expressive vocals and modified phrases, hymning dances, euphoria and decadence in an ironic way. Gasler’s Castle was built by the nobleman Vladimir Fedorovich von Gasler in 1914. It was an amazing palace house, built in the Art Nouveau style with Moorish-Gothic features and located on the shores of two lakes. Gasler lived in it for only three years and in 1917, when the revolution happened, he left his estate.
