Talkin Blues 2022 Upscaled Version

IMPORTANT: This the 10th anniversary upscaled and enhanced version of the original version. The original was uploaded in 2012 and has 174,000 views, despite its low resolution and quality. Thanks to advances in software this version is a much improved viewing experience. During her Talkin’ Blues interview for All About Jazz, Barbara did this blues improv in her Babab Studio (Sep 2012) on a Hammond B3 and Fender Rhodes. There is also a 3D version from a different take on YouTube -- you’ll need the red/blue glasses to see it in 3D. The quality is quite low, but this is about as close as you can get to experiencing what it is like to be right next to Barbara as she plays. At that time I had just gotten a 3D video camera (right before the interview), so this was essentially a trail run. The 3D version was the first take, and we did this 2D version as a “just in case“ take. Glad we did because few people have these old 3D glasses -- but if you can get ahold of some, it is quite an experience. Here’s the link to the 3D version:
