Difficult Riff VS Actually Difficult Riff

We all know the top ten or top fifty lists featuring iconic metal songs with hard and difficult solos, riffs etc. Many people also write to me how I am capable to learn so many “difficult“ songs. It is actually interesting what is considered difficult at first glance and what definitely is difficult when you try and learn a certain riff. Especially as a guitar beginner I was constantly searching for challenges: What song might be a good choice to push my skills? I was suprised how easy “.“ was once I learnt it.
