U.S. Coast Guardsmen fast rope from MH-60S Night Hawk helicopters to demonstrate what a Visit, Board, Search and Seizure (VBSS) operation might look like in real-world conditions. Coast Guardsmen assigned to the San Diego-based Coast Guard Maritime Safety and Security Team (MSST-91109) particitpated with helicopters from Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC-21) to VBSS aboard the littoral combat ship USS Fort Worth (LCS-3) as part of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Defense Informal.
