The Rise to Glory - Feldlager Brandenburg 2021 Aftermovie

This film was shot at the Feldlager Brandenburg 2021 event organized by Arne Koets. Ever since I listened to this particular song I had a film in mind that I wanted to make: an epic journey of a knight on his way to glory. Luckily Arne organized this 15th century feldlager event! While not all my imagined shots came to fruition, as is the nature of such events, the resulting video shows the best of the participating cavalry units in all their 15th century glory. It was a pleasure to capture the dedication participants have towards recreating the past, and to capture the level of craftsmanship that goes into creating all this 15th century gear.
