A Ruffle and a Straight Border on a Quarter Sheet Cake

Using a pre-iced quarter sheet cake, I applied two borders. I started with an orange buttercream filled disposable pastry bag with a large basket weave tip # 897 inserted in the end of the bag without a coupler. Placing the teeth side of the tip towards the cake and it’s edge resting on the cake board, I slowly squeezed out the orange icing covering all four sides.
