My Time (Kikuo Ver.) [16 Bit; Sega Genesis]

“Where’s Basil???“ HERE HE IS, I DIDN’T FORGET ABOUT HIM THIS TIME. I started to remix this song to challenge myself, and oh boy did I have a challenge. When I got to the drop, I started to regret all my life choices up to this point because I couldn’t find the right chords and I was going insane. I really love kikuo’s music but I’m gonna stay away from him for a while because trying to hear every single detail he puts into his songs makes me feel sick (I still had a lot of fun with this, ngl) I think this was also quite the challenge for the Sega Genesis, I had to mess a lot with arpeggios, pitch, alghorithms, and many other things in the intrument editor (I also tried to recreate Miku’s voice timbre at 0:51), not to mention that I also had to optimize a lot of note placements in order to have reverb or to even play the mandatory notes cause there was so much stuff happening and few space lol (help).
