Tristania: The Best of... (1998-2007) | A gothic metal compilation

In honor of Tristania’s disbandment last year, I’ve decided to put together this playlist highlighting the best of these Norwegian (black and doom metal-tinged) gothic metal giants’ material, spanning their first five studio albums (the Veland/Stene/Bergøy-era, if you will). I do have plans to make a second playlist/compilation for the band’s entire career, but believe it or no, I’m still missing one of their releases in my collection, so stay tuned for that sometime next year. Anyway, this one’s a long one because it was hard to narrow down what material I wanted to include, let’s be real, this band was ICONIC in the realm of gothic metal.
