Art historian Kate Bryan explores the misery and glamour of Weimar Germany – a pivotal point in German history – through the eyes of artists Otto Dix and August Sander. Both artists were concerned with representing the extremes of society; from the flourishing cabaret scene to extreme poverty and the rise of Nazism.
