The Qing Dynasty was the last imperial dynasty of #China, ruling from 1644 to 1912. Puyi, born in 1906, became the last Emperor of China at age 2 in 1908. However, he lost real power as rebellions grew. In 1924, #Puyi was forced to leave the Forbidden City. #Japan later installed Puyi as puppet ruler of the state of #Manchukuo in 1932 to extract resources, though he had little actual authority. Puyi ruled as Emperor until 1945 when the Soviet Union invaded and dissolved Manchukuo.
