“DRINK“ Twisted animation about identity, Re-mastered by Patrick Smith

In this Re-mastered animated short film, I gathered the original art, and audio recordings and re-rendered a far superior quality movie. This film is about a young man who takes a sip of a mysterious green liquid, which causes a reaction that allows him to discover a universe of personalities, all dwelling within. This film is traditionally hand drawn on paper, and then colorized and composited digitally. The experimental audio is by Karl von Kries, and the foley sound effects is done by Patrick Smith. This was my very first film, and in some ways, it’s difficult to look at. But I appreciate it’s moderate success during it’s film festival run decades ago. And I have to admit, it was fun pulling up all the old artwork and colored drawings. I was also able to add some new effects, and update a few minor things that bothered me. I hope you enjoy, please let me know what you think in the comments! Awards: -Best Debut Film, New York Film Expo. -Winner, “Oz“ Award, Chic
