Natural frequency of prestressed cylinder explained: ANSYS

Modal analysis of vertically standing cylinder is done to explain the difference of preloaded stress and the difference. Natural frequency of the any system is dependent on the material property like stiffness, density, even weight, boundary condition. In this case, only stiffness property is distinguished.
