Into the Dark (Spanish flamenco rumba) Jesse Cook | Dan Minchom

This week I re-interpreted the instrumental “Into the Dark“ (an old Spanish flamenco rumba of mine) with my friend, and bassist extraordinaire, Dan Minchom. Dan has spent the pandemic studying sound engineering at Berklee, and has built himself a beautiful home studio. Reminds me of myself, back when I was a student at Berklee, recording at home, discovering the fun of producing entire tracks from your living room. In my case, I guess not much has changed...
