Sprinter Usain Bolt, who triumphed in the men’s 200m at 2015 IAAF World Championships, received a gift on Friday from the Chinese cameramen who accidentally crashed into the runner following Thursday’s race in Beijing. Bolt was knocked over by the cameraman on an electric scooter when he was celebrating completing the World Championship sprint double on Thursday evening. “I was following Bolt and staring at the camera lens’ viewfinder. So I didn’t notice there was a track there for another camera. The self-balancing scooter lost balance and turned over after its left wheel rolled on the track. The first thing I saw first was that the scooter hit Bolt,” recalled Song Tao, the cameraman. Song sent a red bracelet, a good-luck charm, to Bolt and placed it on the champion’s wrist by way of apology after the award ceremony on Friday night.
