After about 4 hours of asking people to sing with me on the Santa Monica Pier, I met Sara Beth. She was one of the very few who approached me and offered to sing without me asking (she saw my sign that says “Sing With Me“). I asked who her favorite singers were, and she said “Avril Lavigne!“ We wound up choosing Avril Lavigne - I’m With You. I’ve heard that song many times, but I never played it before. So I decided to just search for the chords online, and do a quick practice run on the guitar.
