Manuel Infante (1883 -- 1958) Danses Andalouses, Ritmo Güher & Süher Pekinel -- piano Manuel Infante left only a very small number of compositions at his death, and most are for one or two pianos. His music is marked by rhythmic elements and by dance features. Without ever denying its roots in Spanish folk tradition, it gives pianists the opportunity to display brilliance of playing. The “Danses Andalouses“ were written in 1921, and are among Infante’s better-known compositions.
