ELIZABETH BÁTHORY - A Hungarian countess and the most notorious killer in Slovak and Hungarian history. An evil and sadistic vampiress who tortured and killed numerous young servant girls and bathed and drank their blood seeking eternal youth. Some of their bodies were found in rivers. Few survived to tell about the horrific events that went on at the castle in the Karpaty mountains. In 1610, she was imprisoned in solidarity confinement, where she died.
