Here is part 13 of a multi-part series on Funk Drumming. For source material, I am using the classic Funk book “The Funk Drumming Workbook“ by Chet Doboe. In this video, I play and talk about solo #13, which is on page 58 in the book. This solo incorporates a bass drum heavy paradiddle permutation section that is technically challenging.
