Steam Logging in Canton

Here is a condensed view of several months of labor spent salvaging the wood from a very large white oak that fell at the Canton, St. Paul, & Pacific Railway. A couple of the logs were moved purely by steam power and then carried down the hill on specially made heavy duty logging disconnects to be dumped in the parking lot to await milling.
