Racing Cheto Cat 2022 a Fixed Gear Only Alleycat in Denver

Massive ups to Chetos for throwing the race, I’ve linked his instagram where he organizes these! Big shout out to Paris for battling it out with me for practically the whole race! Always love getting together for a nice ride with the fixed gear community. In this race I showed up as a last minute f-it kind of thing, and came in 9th surprisingly. There was no preparation for this race to the bike and earlier in the day I was snowboarding Closing Day at Copper, which you can find a link to watch that video below. My typical race gearing is 49x15 which keeps me on pace with the front group, but within the first few minutes I got dropped since I was still running my commute gearing 49x17.
