Afghan Dance- Mariam

Afghan dance performed by Miriam Peretz. Dance is infused with Tajik, and other Central Asian dance styles. Music- Osted Aziz Herawi. Miriam Peretz is an internationally acclaimed performing artist and instructor specializing in Sacred Dances from the Silk Road, Middle East and Roma Gypsy Trail. She performs traditional and contemporary dance as a soloist and a principle dancer with Ballet Afsaneh, representing dances from the Silk Road regions of Central Asia: Iran, Afghanistan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, and Turkey. Miriam teaches regular classes in Norhtern California and tours internationally to teach workshops and perform.
