refs force penn state to punt on third down

An odd moment occurred during the Penn State vs Auburn game when the refs mixed up what down it was and mistakenly said it was fourth down while Penn State had the ball. The Nittany Lions had ran two plays since it was first down, and James Franklin went crazy when he saw that it was somehow fourth down. The refs briefly congregated, but stuck by the call on the field. Penn State was forced to punt the ball away, even though it was clearly third down. Thankfully for Penn State, they went on to defeat Auburn in a thrilling game 28-20.
