It’s very different from what I use to do, it was a journey into Bruce’s mind, a human soul that fights to not descend into the abyss, that darkness that fills your heart until you’re nothing but a mere shell of your former self. The “Zur-En-Arrh“ part in Death In The Family gets me everytime: his mind is like closed in a cage in the deepest part of Arkham (I always compare this part to Jason whispering Grayson’s name in Young Justice). There was so much I wanted to add, so many quotes and parallels, I had to choose carefully what to include.
