Cypher - Official Movie Trailer

Cypher could be most accurately described as a mind-bending, suspense, sci-fi, spy movie. Directed by Vincenzo Natali, director and screenwriter of the cult classic Cube, Cypher isn\’t just introspectively mind-bending but visually engaging and uniquely stylized as well. Although filmed in color, Cypher focuses heavily on black and white and light and shadow while being used in the highest contrast possible. This contrast complements our main character, Morgan Sullivan (Jeremy Northam), whom has a black and white double sided life himself. Lucy Liu is presented in an array of sleek and alluring outfits and stars as the female lead, Rita Foster; a mysterious operative who appears and disappears in a ghost-like fashion. Cypher offers a few unforeseeable spins, including the ending, while suspense and revelation chain them together. Not based around governmental or political spying, Cypher is of the corporate espionage variety taking place in the future when large corporations own and rule the world.
