BUTOH IN LATVIA

This is cultural programme “Project Human“ (2008) in the Latvian National Television focused on history of butoh and this art form in Latvia (directors: Jānis Redlihs, M. Smildziņa). Author of the idea: Simona Orinska. You can see interviews with butoh artist and poet Simona Orinska, director Modris Tenisons, language professor Kaishiro Kanno and others. The main theme: butoh and experimental music performance “eyes fluttering in my knees“.
