I made this coffee table with a herringbone pattern and legs highlighting and featuring the plywood layers. I really wanted the endgrain to stand out, so every surface of this table shows off the ply layers.
This coffee table was built as part of the #rocklerplywoodchallenge put on by the guys over at the Modern Maker Podcast... Mike, Ben and Chris. The challenge was to build something out of 1 sheet of plywood. I used a 4’x8’ three quarter inch sheet of baltic birch plywood.
It was definitely fun to think outside the box a little and be a part of the DIY/maker community. This is my first YouTube video ever so I still have a lot of learning to do.
