Manfred Mann - Big Betty (1968)

Manfred Mann’s adaptation of Black Betty, the American folk standard adapted by Leadbelly and best known by Ram Jam’s 1977 hit version. Mann later performed Black Betty with Manfred Mann’s Earth Band in 1972 before mutating it into the song Look Around. This version was recorded for the 1968 album Mighty Garvey.
