The Forgotten Railroad - A Rotary train experience

The railroad between Bihać (Bosnia and Hercegovina) and Knin (Croatia) has not been in regular use for decades now. The railroad tracks are holding up pretty well so once a year a special train called “Rotary train“ (locally: “Rotary voz“) is organized. This special train is allowing for a very rare opportunity to enjoy the unique scenery of this railway. It goes from Bihać to Kulen Vakuf and back. It is crossing the Croatian and Bosnian border several times. We had one stop to check passports which I’ve skipped in the montage. I hope you’ll enjoy this visual and auditory trip I’ve put together from the clips I recorded when I had an opportunity to ride this train, back in August of 2015. The nature around this railway is unusually beautiful.
