Highway 1 is a designated National Scenic Byway, as well as a California Scenic Highway. On this drive we begin just north of Point Lobos State Nature Preserve, CA and end at Elephant Seal Vista Point, CA, which is just north or San Simeon, CA. This 83 mile route follows one of the most scenic coastlines in the world. With thew Saint Lucia Mountains rising abruptly to the left and the beautiful blue waters of the Pacific Ocean to the right, you will experience some of the most spectacular views found anywhere on earth. The drive traverses the iconic Bixby Creek Bridge, Rocky Creek Bridge, Big Creek Bridge, and passes near the world famous McWay Falls.
