Title:- Indian Army & FICCI Launch HIM DRONE- A- THON 2 For India- China Border Surveillance & Management! To mark 2024 as the ‘Year of Technology Absorption’, Indian Army in collaboration with India’s leading commerce body Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) conducted HIM-DRONE-A-THON 2 from 17-18 September 2024 at Wari La Pass in Leh, Ladakh. With increasing use of drones in Israel comflicy and Russia Ukraine war, UAVs and drones are pivotal for any military success. The drones can immensely boost operational efficiency and tactical superiority of Indian military against aggressive China in some of the most challenging terrain on the planet. In the latest even Wari La pass offered a breath taking testbed for drones across domains of surveillance, logistics, loitering munitions, swarm and FPV operations. Indian Army with such capabilities can exploit drones for surveillance, logistics, precision strikes, communication for better border management at Northern border
