Today we’re going to check out some artworks by American graphic artist Philip Lawvere who lived in Germany during the eighties and he was the graphic artist of Noise Records. So this guy worked with german or teutonic thrash metal bands such as Kreator, Vendetta and Warrant but also bands such as Celtic Frost, Hirax, Exmortus and Rage. He created their Kreator’s mascot Violent Mind and it’s said that he gave the guys in Kreator the idea to change their name from Tormentor to Kreator. So in todays video we’re going to check out some metal album covers made by Phil Lawvere. Enjoy!
