Expressions involving food 1. To stew in one’s own juices – to suffer the consequences of what you have done. 2. Sandwiched – trashed; to be between smth/smb on the both sideways. I was sandwiched between to big guys. 3. To sugar coat smth – to say smth bad in a nice way to make it easier to accept (to make smth to taste good). 4. Sugar daddy – older man who spends money on younger girls in return of companionship, friendship, loving relations and so on. 5. Sugar mummy – older woman who spends money on younger boys in return of companionship, friendship, loving relations and so on. 6. Gravy train – moving at the good times; move up; do well.
