Part By Part Build, Zevezda 1/72 Petlyakov Pe-8, Soviet Heavy Bomber

Right, here’s a big one… A part by part build of Zevezdas enormous 1/72 Petylakov Pe-8. An interesting plane, being basically the only modern Soviet heavy bomber of ww2, I found this one from Zevezda for a bargain at $50 AUD. It’s a nice kit with good details, excellent moulding and good decals. Parts went together well, I enjoyed building this plane even if it was a very slow process. Had to use two songs for this one, they are; “The State Anthem of The Soviet Union” written by Sergei Mikhalkov and “Smuglianka” written by Yakov Shedov and Anatolia Grigorevich Kotovsky. Both songs I borrowed for the video where performed by The Alexandrov Ensemble.
