“Beetlejuice: The Musical“ The Whole “Being Dead” Thing (RE-UPLOAD)

(The reason for re-uploading this video is simple: the end-credits were amended by request of the Line Producer of Beetlejuice: The Musical and Warner Bros.) I am happy to do so. When I first heard they were making a musical adaptation of “Beetlejuice” I was a bit skeptical about the idea. After I saw the cast perform this song on “The Today Show” - I was amazed. The whole song felt like a delightful and unique mix of the original movie score with an Oingo Boingo Album. A couple of months later the cast album for “Beetlejuice” was released. When I heard this song on the album, I thought to myself that this would be fun to try and animate. In the words of songwriter Eddie Perfect “It’s gonna go from ukulele, Kermit the Frog folk into flat out death metal and then back again and swing jazz.” For the past three months, I spent much of my summer break working on this animation project.
