How to make filament from pet bottle for 3d printing. Part 2.

Pet plastic bottle filament for 3d printers. Making your own filament for 3d printing has never been easier. The production of filament from a pet bottle works on a simple principle. The first step is to cut the tape from the bottle on a simple cutter. The second step is to heat the tape using a heated nozzle with a set temperature of around 210 degrees Celsius. The third step is to guide the first centimeters of the filament onto the winding spool. The process takes about 45 minutes and it is possible to produce about 8 meters of filament from one bottle. The printing temperature is about 250 - 260 degrees Celsius. The filament diameter can be compensated by setting the flow rate in your slicer. You can cut plastic strips accurately and turn them into filaments.
