Reverse Grip with a Katana-Historic Uses [sword talk/katana tameshigiri]

I talk about the uses of a reverse grip, also known as the zatoichi style or the icepick grip and its use with the reverse grip often gets pawned off as fiction because HEMA and kendo focus strongly on duelling, where the reverse grip has little place, but I believe there are overlooked situations where it might have been used.
