JACS in Conversation With… the Journal of the American Chemical Society presents interviews with accomplished scientists in chemistry. In this interview, Editor-in-Chief Professor Erick Carreira speaks with Professor Morten Meldal. Meldal is Professor in Chemistry in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Copenhagen in Copenhagen, Denmark. He is also one of the recipients of the 2022 Nobel Prize in Chemistry, which was awarded to him, Carolyn R. Bertozzi, and K. Barry Sharpless for “the development of click chemistry and bioorthogonal chemistry”.
