The author is a Russian woodcarver and artist Nikolai Piryazev. He carves in Tatianka woodcarving style, a technique created by a Russian sculptor Shamil Sasykov in the early 1990s in Moscow. It is known for its exquisite character and magnificent natural look. Paying extreme attention to detail and working very carefully, we realistically depict scenes from nature: leaves, flowers, butterflies, dragonflies, grasshoppers, beetles, ants, snails, frogs, lizards and even snakes.
