The Halibuts were invited to play a convention for a bunch music executives up in Berkley, sometime in the ’90’s. This was a showcase where all these bands came up and told stories about how they were going to be “the next big thing.“ There was a lot of yawning, rolling eyes, ... We got to close the show. No talking, just playing. The execs went crazy. I wish you could see the dance area behind all the chairs. Eventually they started clearing out the chairs to open up space.
