We went to visit the Shaman with a friend of ours who’s son was ill, they let us film the traditional healing ceremony which involved sucking out evil spirits from the boy and blowing shamanic energy into his body. This is a fascinating insight into traditional alternatives to modern medicine in amazonian kichwa communities.
