There are generally no rules in music production, but when it comes to mixing and mastering, there are some basic guidelines that should always be followed, particularly when it comes to levels and such. If you want a clean and crisp-sounding mix, you need to make sure that your premaster is optimized for mastering. In this tutorial, I will also show you some mixing tips and tricks, and how to properly prepare a mix for mastering so that you get it sounding as good as possible.
