as scary as wiring is when everything is color coded it’s hard to mess up! i basically just delete what i don’t need and keep what i do, and re-wired all the janky old wiring with new wires and connections. ended up wrapping the entire thing in high temp automotive wiring harness tape. really happy with how it came out. let me know if you have any questions :)
