The mother of Jamal al-Din Abu al-ala, a Palestinian man detained by Israeli forces and forced to deliver a message to the besieged Nasser Hospital, recounts the events of that day. According to his mother, Jamal’s wish was to be buried with his father, who was killed during the second Intifada. Jamal was buried in the hospital courtyard along with many other Palestinians who died during the assault by Israeli forces on Nasser Hospital.
