Proof of Concept: A Radial Level Design Built on Light and Darkness.
At the very beginning of 2023, my friends and I nearly secured $100,000 for the initial development phase of our dream game, but the deal fell through at the last moment. Besides our core team, we managed to assemble some stellar experts. A buddy from Blizzard was set to handle character design (he’s an art lead), a friend from Atomic Heart was on board for sound tech (technical sound lead), and a fantasy author and seasoned D&D master with thousands of hours of experience was to take care of the narratives and scripts. Someday, I’ll share more about this story.
During that period, we addressed hundreds of questions that arose and made numerous technical sketches to test hypotheses, some of which we still love to this day.
