#BLACKPINK LISA genuinely apologizes for the ’Cultural Appropriation’ issue which blew up on twitter. The issue started wayback on Kill This Love era when Lisa wore braids. Braids were known to belong to African people as a protective style. Once again, when LALISA’s B-side Money Exclusive Performance Video Teaser Poster came out, the black community went mad for Lisa wearing braids again and was accusing her of cultural appropriation (CA). People on twitter were debating whether it was box braids from the African Culture or simply a braid or even a Thai braid.
