London has become hideously crowded, when only a few years ago the city’s population was declining

From 1939 to 1991, the population of London fell dramatically, from 8.6 million to 6.8 million. There was more room for everybody as the city became less crowed. Since 1991 though, the population has risen by more than 2 million. #:~:text=Ethnic group populations, 2021 Census,saw an increase of 10%.
