the Hill Country Devil, “Somewhere Safe and Always Quiet,“ // GemsOnVHS™

I’ve been getting a lot of messages regarding the state of the people’s champion, Hayden, the Hill Country Devil. Folks want to know how he is, what he is up to. Well, there are ups and downs as always. This recording was taken perhaps during a downhill slide, and i’m really happy we were able to make it before he headed out West. Yes, this was a Nashville stop on his way to moving from Cincinnati to Colorado. He is now living a few more thousand feet above sea level, with his lovely girlfriend, doing quite well, and staying quiet on social media. I can’t blame him, who wants to focus on that stuff when you have anything else to do in life? We’re still encouraging him to release music though, this song included. He is dreaming of doing an album the way he has always wanted it, something he can really be proud of, for his next album. I’ve heard y’alls pleas, too.
