Dr. Lee Clare of the Istanbul Department of the German Archaeological Institute, Prof. Dr. Faruk Ocakoğlu (Eskişehir Osmangazi Universität) und Doç. Dr. Çiler Çilingiroğlu (Ege Universität) talk about „Human-Environment Interactions in Prehistoric Anatolia“. In the last decade a great deal of time and expertise has been dedicated to a better understanding of climate-culture interaction in the past, an area of study that continues to attract the attention of scientists, politicians and the public alike. The three experts in our panel will present current debates relating to this topic with a focus on Anatolian prehistory from the Younger Dryas to the Holocene.
