1990 July 03 & 04 - Lambo 1 first test with Mauro Baldi @ Imola

Scheduled to make his first appearance on track at the 1990 Mexican GP ( ) with driver Giovanni Aloi, the disapearance of the GLAS team financer Fernando Gonzalez Luna forced car builder Lamborghini to take their Lambo 1 F1 car on their own and start a testing program that saw Mauro Baldi making the Lambo 1 track debut at Imola on July 03 & 04, 1990. According to 90 Autosprint # 28, test were very good, car had no problem, although Baldi had a crash. Before that he had completed 68 laps with a best time of and a max speed of 301 km/h.
